Lennon, McCartney and Harrison overdubbing to create a captivating vocal
comparable in sound to The Beach Boys. Here, under the musical
direction of Naoimh Penston the young Arklow based choir leave their own
impression on a timeless ballad.
April 11 2011East Coast FM interview Naoimh expresses her delight Musical
Director for the Academy Naoimh Penston was interviewed on East Coast
FM earlier this morning, recalling last week's wonderful successes at
the Dublin Feis Ceoil. Interviewed by Laura Wood on The Morning Show
with Declan Meehan, Naoimh highlighted the sterling work and
achievements thus far put in by the students. Included in the
interview, a recording by the Academy of "The Quiet Land Of Erin".

EuroSong Final
Powerful performance at Opera House A
magnificent performance from Naoimh in the EuroSong Final, her own
composition, "Always You", securing second place in the national song
contest behind Eddie Friel's "Dreamin'".
Black Is The Colour is a track from the CD 'The Valley Project', recorded by Naoimh Penston, Kansas City's Ian Byrne and Todd Wiseman and renowned guitarist Fran Harper.
